Target audience: When an authority signs up to achieve a level of the Member Development Charter they will nominate two elected members and two officers to be part of a regional pool of assessors. This training is aimed at nominated officer/elected member assessors.
Purpose: This is an excellent opportunity for assessors to ensure that you fully understand the West Midlands approach to the Member Development Charter. We hope that it will be an enjoyable learning experience and that you will leave the session feeling excited and confident to be part of a future assessment team.
This is not a mandatory requirement for assessors but we would recommend it to ensure you fully understand the requirements and expectations of a Charter assessor.
