A lean systems thinking approach
2010-01-21
IEWM's Transformation Team are working with local authorities and partnerships across the West Midlands to introduce new ways of working based on the principles of lean systems thinking. Authorities can achieve significant improvements and efficiencies through the application of this methodology.
Telford and Wrekin Council is generating a savings package of £4.59m efficiencies for 2010/11 by commissioning Northgate Kendric Ash through IEWM's BPI/Lean Systems Thinking framework.
Stratford Upon Avon Council have adopted a Systems Methodology and intend to roll it out across the authority to realise a £2m budget deficit.
